We’ve been studying country life.  Last week we read The Ox-Cart Man and Heartland. Choose one of these stories to share with us. What does the story teach us about Country Life? Start with the title of the story and share two or more of your ideas.

    The Ox-Cart Man by Mr. R
    The ox cart man and his family sold honey, goose feathers, apples, the ox and cart. I learned that country life can be very exciting.

    citylife is diffene then coutrylife because city life has buiding.in coutrylife has houses.citylife is better because citylife you get drive acar on the street.coutry life idon,t like because you have to walk.

    it is called heatland. because. there are lot of animals the they live in a heart land. the are lot of cows that haves are baby that are a heartland.because are bornfrom the heartland.

    Ox Cart Man By B.L.
    First his daughtern nit’s like mitins and baby sweters and makes diffrent stuff and his son makes wood carvings then the dad takes the stuff with a bull and with a cart then he sales every thing he had in the cart he even the ox and the cart.

    Then he had to camp out side he made a camp fire and a tent. The next morning he returned home he gave his son a knife and he started carveing the end.

    What I learn about Heart land is you get to have
    a lot of place to plant. I also learnd in heart
    land you farm with all kinds of animals you like
    to feed animals.

    A.R. I have lived in both a city and the
    country. I drove a car in both places. I
    wonder which ox-cartman prefers, the city
    or the country? what do you think?
